Love Aaj Kal, also known as "Love these days", is a romantic drama film that was released on Valentine's Day in 2020. The movie was directed by Imtiaz Ali and starred Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. Principal photography for the film started in March 2019 and was completed by July of the same year. The film was produced in the Hindi language and was released in India to an eager audience.

Plot Summary:

Zoe Chauhan, an ambitious young woman, and Veer Taneja, a promising young man, meet at a bar and decide to spend the night together at Veer's home. However, Veer stops Zoe from continuing their act, telling her that the time is not right. Infuriated, Zoe leaves, and Veer follows her. She confronts him and asks him not to follow her.

As their relationship slowly begins to develop, Veer drops Zoe off for a job interview at the Mehta Group, whose owner, Raj Mehta, also owns the place where Zoe frequently hangs out. Zoe's friend Raghu tells her about his childhood sweetheart, Leena, and how he used to behave with her just as Veer behaves with Zoe.

One day, Zoe walks in on Raghu with a woman, assuming it is Leena, but later discovers that he left Leena for his own ambitions. Zoe's mother tells her that she can't have both her love and career, and she goes to meet Veer's parents but leaves in tears.

Heartbroken after seeing Veer with another girl, Zoe hangs out with multiple people but doesn't like any of them. She gets drunk at a bar with a guy who refuses to drop her off at her home. Veer picks her up and drops her off at her house, telling her that he can't enter a relationship of compromises with her and breaking up with her.

Veer informs Zoe about a new job in the Himalayas and leaves for two years, explaining that he has as much right to focus on his career as she does. Zoe gets a proposal from the Mehta family to marry Rishabh but refuses. When she meets Raj, he tells her that he met Leena one last time and still misses her but is helpless now.

Zoe realizes that she cannot balance love and work and goes to reunite with Veer in the Himalayas. She finds him sleeping outside and lays atop him, agreeing to take a leap with him, and they reunite.
