A girl is haunted by an evil spirit in her family home. Several bad things begin to happen around her house and to her family members. An old character rises back and tries to save the family from their doomed fate.

Sijjin is a Turkish horror film series that began in 2014. The name comes from the Arabic word Sijjin, which can mean either a book listing the names of the damned or a prison in the depths of hell. The series was directed by Alper Mestçi and produced by Muhtesem Tözüm under the Muhtesem Film studio. The franchise quickly gained worldwide popularity and was hailed as a new wave of Turkish horror movies. The original title SİCCÎN, a Kurmanji Kurdish word meaning 'violent' or 'vehement', reflects the movie's chilling and scary theme. Director Mestçi returned to his horror roots after directing a pair of highly successful global box office hits. Despite the global acceptance, the series continues to push the envelope in the Turkish horror genre.
