Saw IV is a horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, starring Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, and Lyriq Bent. The movie follows the story of Officer Daniel Rigg, who is put through a series of deadly tests in order to let go of his obsession with saving everyone while attempting to save his partner. Despite Jigsaw's death, his legacy of manipulating people into continuing his work lives on. The movie received negative reviews from critics but was a box office success, grossing $139 million worldwide. It was released in 2007 and was followed by a sequel, Saw V, in 2008.

Saw IV Plot:

In the movie "Saw IV," Detective Mark Hoffman discovers a wax-coated microcassette inside John Kramer's stomach. The tape reveals that the twisted games will continue even after Kramer's demise. At the same time, Detective Daniel Rigg is thrust into Jigsaw's game and forced to confront his compulsion to save people. As Rigg navigates through a series of lethal traps, Agents Peter Strahm and Lindsey Perez probe the death of Allison Kerry and start to suspect Rigg's involvement in the gruesome game.

As the story progresses, it becomes clear that Hoffman is the actual accomplice, and he leaves Strahm trapped in the sickroom. Rigg ultimately bleeds to death, while Eric Matthews and Art Blank meet their demise in Jigsaw's twisted game. The movie ends on a chilling note as the audience realizes that Jigsaw's legacy lives on and that the games will continue, even beyond his death.
