Brahms: The Boy II

Brahms: The Boy II is a 2020 American horror film starring Katie Holmes, Ralph Ineson, and Owain Yeoman. The film serves as a sequel to the 2016 movie The Boy, with William Brent Bell returning as the director and Stacey Menear, who wrote the first movie, penning the story. The plot follows a family who moves to a new home after a traumatic experience, only for their young son Jude to find a seemingly harmless doll in the woods. As Jude becomes more attached to the doll, strange and sinister events begin to occur, revealing that the doll has a dark and deadly past.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film grossed $20 million worldwide after its release on February 21, 2020, distributed by STX Entertainment. The story depicts the family's fight to save their son from the doll's control and the evil force behind it. In the end, they destroy the doll and seemingly restore their lives to normal.

However, the film's final scene hints at the possibility of the evil lingering on, as Jude puts on a mask resembling the doll's face. While Brahms: The Boy II may not have received critical acclaim, it continues to provide thrills and chills to horror fans who enjoy stories of possessed dolls and the fight for survival against supernatural forces.
